Check-up
Today we went to Texas Children's for Hudson's one week post-op check up. They did an x-ray and everything looks great! The Dr. and nurses were amazed at how well Hudson is doing. Anytime we would go in for a check up we would be asked, does Hudson lack energy? We were like a record saying, "no, he keeps up with all the kids his age, has never turned blue, eats like he should." Let me say, we were so wrong! Hudson is even more full of life than before! Bryan and I count our blessings every single day and are so thankful for Hudson's progress through all of this.

Such wonderful news - Praise The Lord for His many blessings. I am so grateful Hudson is doing so very well - And in such a relatively short period of time.
Please know the prayers are ongoing from this corner of things and I will keep checking in for updates as long as you can keep up with posting them. It probably will soon start taking more time to keep up with Hudson than with the blog site!

Hudson ~ Praise Jesus for you sweet cousin of mine. I am so excited to hear the news that you are healing and recovering so quickly. I would love to have a playdate with you this summer when you are feeling better. I will continue to pray for you everyday and night. I knew that song was true that my Mommy sings to me..."Jesus loves the little children"...and I know he has a special love for you Hudson. I love you and can not wait to see you soon. Keep the praise reports coming.

I'm glad Shirley told me about this blogspot. I have wondered how Hudson is doing. It's wonderful to hear the good news! Of course, it's been a hard road for y'all. It's SO difficult to see your child go through things like this, but you are absolutely right -- Hudson's a fighter! I'll continue to pray for his health and your peace of mind.

Thank you so much for keeping this spot up to date all during the surgery. So many of our friends and family have told me how great it was to be able to keep up with Hudson's progress. Even his Great great uncle Roger Hudson Bryan told me that it was the first thing he did every morning during the surgery.
