Hit your knees please!

Dr. Salazar came in around 1:15 this afternoon. They have been hearing what is called a residual VSD (murmur), which in not uncommon. Hudson had an echo this morning which shows that there is in fact a VSD. Dr. Salazar along with other Doctors have decided to go do an echo going down the throat this afternoon at 4:00. This echo should show if the VSD is one that they just missed or if a stitch popped up. They will have the surgical team ready to go and the surgery will happen tonight. Please pray that the surgery goes extraordinarily well and that this time they are able to find everything and fix it all! Hit your knees please. It's been a very emotional day being that we thought we might go home today and now we're back to square 1. We know that we can do this (and we have to) but it is very emotional. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Bryan, Stephanie and Hudson,
We can only imagine how trying this all must be for you. Please know that we are lifting you all up in prayer and thanking God in advance for his favor thru the blessing of Hudson's complete and miraculous recovery. We also ask our heavenly father to bless the entire medical team with the guidance, direction and knowledge they need to ensure Hudson's recovery. We serve a good God, who only wants good for Hudson. Trust in our Heavenly Father.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Love,
Curtis, Laura and Emma

Several of us here are praying as hard as possible, and all our positive thoughts and energy are coming your way.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27

Bryan, Steph, and Hudson,

We know that the pain and uncertanty you are feeling is sometimes more to handle. Take comfort that God is good and He will carry you through this. We are constantly praying for a speedy recovery and that Hudson will come through this perfectly. We are also constantly praying for your peace, comfort, and strength. God does not give us more than we can handle and it is in our worst of times that He is carrying us. I know this from experience and I pray that you can feel the peace and comfort that God is giving you. I hope you can feel all of the prayers coming your way to lift all three of you up, they are there, please take comfort in knowing that. We can't wait to be on the other side of this again with you. If you need to talk, we understand and are here for you both!

Much Love,
Dwain and Marla Carnes

I know how disappointed you must have been to hear you were not going home today!

Hudson looks sooo good and he's a strong little guy! You are strong parents too!

I'm praying for a complete recovery and wisdom for the Doctors!

MY GOODNESS! Did I tell you that I'm not very good with this blog thing!

I had a typo on the most important word!!!!

Again I write,

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13

God bless!

Does anyone have an update? I talked to Aunt Melissa around 7 PM and they had just taken Hudson back for the test. They felt sure that they were going to do surgery no matter what the test showed. If anyone reads this comment and has an update, please share. I've been praying and praying and keep hitting "reload" on the blog in hopes of hearing great news.

Bryan and Stephanie, hang in there. Know that Jesus will carry you through this. I don't know your pain, but I know how much we love our kids, so I can only imagine how scared you might be. God is good, ALL the time. He is the same God that answered our prayers on Friday. He is the same God as He was this morning when you took those precious pictures of Hudson. He will be the same God tomorrow when this 2nd surgery is over. He is bigger than all of this earthly mess. Cling to Him.

I love you guys and am praying without ceasing.

Love,
Paula Weatherly

Hang in there guys, I can't even imagine what you guys must be going thru. All I can say is that you will be in our prayers and be positive for Hudson. He is such a brave and strong little boy, aways full of smiles.
